Aaron Sprowl, Marine Biologist, Host and Co-producer of EcoXplorers
The mission of EcoXplorers is to create educational videos and television programs that enhance people’s understanding of their relationship to the natural world and each other. Through his role at EcoXplorers, he has researched, developed, and hosted video productions currently available in retail venues.

Teaming
up with Mach 1 Audio in 2007, Aaron is co-founder of EcoXplorers
video and television productions whose intent is to deepen the
viewers’ awareness of the earth and its inhabitants. As
a Marine Biologist, Aaron has helped people of all ages to think
critically and expand their perception of the natural world.
Prior
to the creation of EcoXplorers, Aaron graduated from the University
of Miami and began a career in Marine Biology. He began working
in the harsh unforgiving environments aboard commercial fishing
vessels in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska and was responsible
for observing catch information. Looking for a more stable and
less dangerous type of work, he decided to move to the commercial
aquarium industry. This allows him to use his marine biology
education to offer children and adults a glimpse into underwater
worlds not typically understood. When not hosting/producing video
productions, Aaron currently heads up the shark systems of a
prominent aquarium housing an awe-inspiring 22 sharks and 3 sawfish,
comprised of nine different species including the sand tiger
which is known as one of the ten deadliest sharks.
